Apple In-Ear Headphones w/ Remote

All-in-all, I would say that Kevin Rose was on point with this one. So, high five for him. This keynote should please iPod fanboys and fangirls who might have felt left out with all the love going to the iPhone 3G. C'mon now. Apple even got Jack Johnson to perform on the keynote to show all the music lovers some love! The price cuts on several iPods should also please iPod fans. The headphones look interesting. I'll be keeping my eye on them all right. The remote looks pretty intuitive and the tweeter and woofer capabilities for a sub $100 headset seem very interesting. I will be waiting till it becomes available in October before making up my mind on whether to pick it up.

I've been using iTunes 8 for a couple of hours now and I'm not overly wowed by it in any way. Sure, it's a nice upgrade but it isn't really much of an overhaul. The 'Genius' playlist is working now and then for me. I still keep getting the "Genius is not available for .... " now and then. However, 'Genius' is pretty good when actually does work.

There you have it. I enjoyed watching the hour long keynote. I will be keeping my eye on the MacBook refresh. Now, that's what I'm really after.
