'Wanted' came out this weekend and yours truly along with some co-workers braved the crowds and saw this movie. I, personally, walked out of there literally blown out of my mind, feeling pretty useless about myself.
The Good: Amazing gun battles. Great special effects. Very crowd-pleasing. Good acting by James McAvoy & Morgan Freeman.
The Bad: Sub-par acting by everybody else (including Angelina Jolie). Cliche twist. Predictable and often boring non-action scenes.
All-in-all, I honestly believe that this is an amazing movie that is not for everybody. If you like fast paced, out of this world gun battles then 'Wanted' is for you! There were many moments throughout the film that made people in the audience say 'dayyyyummmmm' and even applaud the action.
I'm not here to spoil it for you. Merely to say go and watch it. It's probably the best $12 I've spent on a movie ticket so far. That is, of course, until 'Dark Knight' is upon us. This is going to be interesting.
