I knew it! After all the speculation, it looks like Apple is going to make a big announcement regarding the iPod refresh. All of you holding back on buying a new iPod, this is for you! Be on the lookout on September 9th!
To add fuel to the fire, accessories maker Hama displayed some cases (above) for the yet unreleased iPod Nano at IFA 2008. Looks like it's sporting a longer (wide) screen. Yippee!

Full steam ahead for the Android OS. They recently released some shots and details for the "Android Market", which is the Android version of the Apple App Store. The big thing with the Android Market is that it is more open than Apple's App Store where developers are not subject to an official approval process. Other than that, it operates much the same way as the Apple App Store. With all the fiascoes of developers applications being pulled from Apple's App Store lately, this should come as a relief to developers.

Best Buy has good savings on the high powered Dell Studio 15. I think this deal is only for the Jet Black version. I've seen a couple of people on campus rocking this laptop but I haven't really played with it. The specs on this laptop for this deal are way more than necessary which makes this a very good deal. Buy.com has the lowest price on the web for a 16gb iPod Touch! With all the speculation of new iPods, it's hard to really recommend pouncing on this.
