I've never paid a lot of attention to the Kindle simply because I'm not an avid reader of any kind, but it came to my attention when I worked for Random House, Inc. this past summer. It looks like e-books and e-book readers are going to be the future of the publishing industry.
I've seen a few Kindles but never actually held one in my hand. At Random House, Inc. they were issuing Sony e-book readers to a couple of their employees. If the above is to be believed, then Kindle fans have something to look forward to!
